On April 1, as we were preparing to drive our Audi A4 back to Canada, I noted some pinkish fluid adjacent to the R front tire. My concern was for a cooling system leak and I required the advice of an expert mechanic. Two years earlier, when we were in Sarasota, we had the thermostat replaced at Suncoast Motorsports but, due to a faulty installation, the repair needed to be repeated when we returned to Canada. The Service Manager at Suncoast refused to accept responsibility for his mechanic's error or contribute to the expenses of the second repair. Although Suncoast is the region's Audi dealer, I decided that I would not return to Suncoast for this problem. I consulted the Internet for reviews of Sarasota mechanics and it was evident that Jesse's Garage carried an excellent reputation for repairs on import cars. I contacted Jesse's and was provided with a prompt emergency appointment. On arrival, we were met by Jesse who, with his associate, evaluated the problem, both on the ground and up on the hoist. It was quickly and efficiently determined that the cooling system was intact and not responsible for our problem. A leak was identified in the conduit to the headlight washer on the right side. The washer fluid was pinkish in colour, similar to the engine coolant, and this had confused me. We were treated promptly, efficiently and honestly at Jesse's garage. I can recommend this business without reservation. It was a pleasure to meet such a fine person as Jesse Yuvali and to appreciate his skill.
I'm glad it was only the washer fluid, since somebody used pink as the color of the Audi Coolant, using a blue Washer fluid will help. Thanks again. Jesse Yuvali Owner, Mechanical Engineer
