I just got home from Jesses Garage, and boy am I thankful I found him. I had taken my honda civic to the dealer about a month ago for some issues I was having. They told me, among many other repairs, that it needed to have the compliance bushings replaced. Long story short, after going back and forth with me, I decided to take it to jesses for a second opinion. I called Jesse this morning at 8:45 and explained my issue to him and be told me to come in right away. As soon as I got there, he put the car on the lift and gave a thorough inspection. He showed me the compliance bushings which were cracked, but did not need to be repaired. He did, however, show me the rear passenger shock that was leaking and would need to be replaced sometime in the future. There is something so powerful about being able to show your customer something that needs to be repaired, and comparing it to what it "should" look like to support your recommendation. Unfortunately, as a young woman I do feel like I need to be wary of mechanics, but that was certainly not the case with Jesse. He was informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I am so so happy I found him. He saved me $500+ during the holiday season, and for that I am truly grateful. He didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee. Jesse is the best BMW mechanic in Sarasota!He is highly skilled, thorough, honest, and just a great guy. His explanations are always clear and precise, and his prices are reasonable. Finally, A Trustworthy Mechanic! I found Jesse after I purchased my much loved (and equally hated- BMW owners will understand), 2000 528i wagon. It seemed all she was waiting for was me, to have everything start breaking! A friend mentioned his wonderful mechanic- Jesse, and I was off to see him. He was very kind and attentive and was very honest about repairs that were necessary and those that could wait. This of course saved me money and put my mind at ease! When he has had my car for repair, it is always a very quick turn around for me to get it back. I have also been able to stop by unannounced and he has taken the time to help me. Visiting my 90 year old grandma in FL, we discovered her cars AC was blowing hot air. We found jesses place on yelp and went in at 505pm less than 1 hr before close in hopes we could get this foxed for her without delay. They immediately took us in and had the AC blowing at 48 degrees in less than 10mins for $40. Great customer service. Cheap. Friendly. Honest. Thank you!!

I did my research and found Jesses' Garage on google. I also had a mechanic reffered to me by coworkers. Trying to see my options and get a feel for both mechanics I went to both late Friday afternoon. Taking the advice of my coworkers first, I drove the distance and went to their mechanic. He stopped what he was doing to plug in the sensor and then told me I would need to drop my Taurus off another day to be diagnosed. So I then went to Jesses' expecting similar treatment. Boy was I wrong! At Jesses' he didn't recognize the codes but he immediately researched the problem. Once he saw what the codes were he not only knew what the issue was, but could fix the problem that night! In less than an hour my car was diagnosed, fixed, and paid for. My car is now running smoothly and for a really great price! I have already recommended him once since and will continue to every chance I get. Jesse is a great guy and an awesome mechanic.

Ladies, it is so difficult to find an honest mechanic that won't try to rip you off because you are a female and easy to prey upon. Well, you found the best in Sarasota County if you trust your foreign car to Jesse. Within the first few minutes I knew he would be the one mechanic I could trust and after a year my feelings have been justified over and over. He has never tried to get me to do things that are unnecessary and always suggests options that are good for my pocket book. My BMW is over 100,000 miles and runs like it’s new. After reading other reviews I stopped by Jesse's for an assessment of an idling problem with my older Landcruiser. Jesse diagnosed the problem and discussed solutions - the most optimal being a DIY fix - Jesse articulated how I could replace an idle system valve by myself, saving me at least a few hundred dollars. It is incredibly rare to find a mechanic who offers this sort of honesty and isn't simply looking for a means to make $$ off of his customers. Jesse lives up to the reviews, I highly recommend him.

Fixes it right the first time. Jesse has performed work for me on two BMW's, a Cadillac, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. My last visit was for a leaky heater core on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was allowing coolant steam into the passenger cabin which is a health hazard. After examining the vehicle and knowing I did not want to spend a lot of money due to the mileage, he suggested we bypass the heater core all together. He told me what we needed and sent me down the street to Napa Auto Parts to get a hose. With less than $20 in parts, the vehicle was back on the road with no worries about coolant leaking into the cabin. Jesse is honest, dependable, and never pushy. He tells me what needs to be fixed on the car, what should be fixed on the car, and areas to keep an eye on. I highly recommend Jesses' Garage.
